How It Works

Switch the toy on and the feather wand moves by itself above the clear dome, so your cat has a moving target to stalk and swat at without you holding the other end. The base also projects a red laser dot onto the floor nearby, which is the part most cats chase hardest. A separate LED light glows softly under the clear dome; that one is decorative and is not the dot your cat chases. The feather clips into a socket on top of the dome and lifts straight out, so a worn feather can be swapped for a new one.

How to Use

1. Charge the toy over USB before first use.
2. Check that the feather teaser is attached securely.
3. Place the toy on the floor with some open space around it.
4. Switch it on.
5. The feather wand moves on its own while the toy is switched on, and the base projects the laser dot.
6. Stay in the room and supervise your cat while it plays.

Care and Safety

• Do not aim or direct the laser light toward the eyes of people or pets.
• Always supervise your cat during play.
• Check the feather and the toy regularly, and stop using it if anything is damaged or coming loose.
• Keep charging components away from chewing, and unplug the toy once it is charged.
• Wipe the shell with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not submerge the toy in water.

FAQ

Does the toy move on its own?Yes. Once you switch it on, the feather wand on top moves by itself, so your cat has a moving target without you holding a wand.

Does it have a laser?Yes. As well as the moving feather wand, the base projects a red laser dot for your cat to chase. The manufacturer does not publish a laser class or output rating, so we do not quote one. Do not aim the laser toward the eyes of people or pets.

Is the light under the dome the same as the laser?No. The glow under the clear dome is a decorative LED. The laser dot is separate and comes from the front of the base.

Do I need to hold it or run it myself?No. Set it down, switch it on and the feather wand does the work. We still recommend staying in the room while your cat plays.

Is it rechargeable?Yes. It has a built-in rechargeable battery and charges over USB.

How long does the battery last per charge?The manufacturer does not publish a verified runtime per charge, so we do not quote a number of hours. We would rather leave it out than give you a figure we cannot stand behind.

Does it include a feather, and can it be replaced?Yes. A feather teaser comes attached to the toy, and it detaches so you can swap in a new one when it wears out.
